ABNR Enhances Client Service with Appointment of Three New Partners
As a reflection of our commitment to providing superior legal services to our clients across all practice areas, we are pleased to announce the appointment of three new partners, Ms. Monic Devina, Ms. Ammalia Putri, and Ms. Serafina Muryanti. Their appointments are effective from 1 January 2019.
Monic has been with ABNR since 2005. Her key practice areas are Banking & Finance, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) & Cross-border Investment, General Corporate, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). She has worked on a long list of major projects, including the acquisition of two Indonesian banks by South Korea’s Shinhan Bank and their subsequent merger to form Shinhan Bank Indonesia, the merger of Uber’s Southeast Asia operations with those of Grab Inc., and the acquisition of publicly-listed Indonesian banks by the Industrial Bank of Korea.
Ammalia, who joined the Firm in 2007, specializes in Banking Compliance, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) & Cross-border Investment, and Project Finance, with a particular focus on power projects. She has advised a number of international banks on their cross-border investments, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citibank and Natixis, and has worked on many large-scale power projects, including the Tanjung Jati B Expansion project, Central Java PPP project, Cirebon Expansion project, and the Muara Laboh and Rantau Dedap Geothermal projects.
Serafina, who also joined ABNR in 2007, focuses her practice on Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance. She has extensive experience advising lenders and sponsors on power-project financings, including related risk analysis and all aspects of the Indonesian regulatory regime. Over the years she has been involved in many of Indonesia’s largest power projects, including the Paiton Expansion project, Tanjung Jati B Expansion project, Sarulla project, Wampu and Semangka Hydroelectric projects, Central Java PPP project, Cirebon Expansion project, TJB 5 & 6 project, and the Muara Laboh and Rantau Dedap Geothermal projects. She also regularly assists clients with General Corporate, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) matters.
