ABNR Partner Maher Sasongko Named ‘Indonesia Rising Star’ by ‘Asian Legal Business’
We are very pleased to share that ABNR partner Mr. Maher Sasongko has been named an “Indonesia Rising Star 2024” by Asian Legal Business (ALB), a highly regarded, Singapore-based monthly legal journal. According to ALB, their “Indonesia Rising Star“ awards highlight the country’s “top up-and-coming lawyers” who are “not only delivering impressive results, but also winning rave reviews from satisfied clients.”
Maher’s principal areas of practice encompass banking and finance, project finance and development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and foreign direct investment (FDI), and he is lauded as a “Next Generation Partner” for banking & finance by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, which also recommends him for corporate & M&A and capital markets.
A 2011 graduate of Padjadjaran University, Bandung, where he majored in International Law, Maher has been with ABNR since 2011 and was made a partner of the firm in January 2023. In 2015, he earned an LL.M degree with merit in International Commercial Law from University College London (UCL), England.
