ABNR Recognized in 12 Categories in ABLJ Indonesia Law Firm Awards 2019

Asian Business Law Journal (ABLJ), a prestigious Hong Kong-based legal publication, has named ABNR Counsellors at Law (ABNR) an award winner in 12 categories in the ABLJ Indonesia Law Firm Awards 2019:

ABLJ’s Indonesia Law Firm Awards are determined based on votes, references and qualitative information received by ABLJ from in-house counsel and other legal professionals in Indonesia and around the world.

This latest recognition for ABNR’s work comes on the back of a stellar year for the firm in 2018, when ABNR was among the top-two award winners at the annual Asian Legal Business (ALB) Indonesia Law Awards, taking the gongs for Indonesia Deal Firm of the Year; Deal Maker of the Year (ABNR’s Mr. Emir Nurmansyah); Restructuring & Insolvency Law Firm or the Year; Project, Energy & Infrastructure Law Firm of the Year; Project Finance Deal of the Year (Jakarta Bandung High Speed Rail Project); and Indonesia Deal of the Year (Jakarta Bandung High Speed Rail Project).

In addition, ABNR was recognized as a 2018 Asian-Mena Counsel & In-House Community “Firm of the Year” for Aviation; Banking and Finance; International Arbitration; Litigation and Dispute Resolution. The firm was also named a “Most Responsive Domestic Law Firm” and received “Honorable Mentionsfor Energy & Natural Resources; Maritime & Shipping; and Projects & Project Financing.

We also received awards from various international legal publications in 2018 for our deals, including awards for Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Rail Line PPP; Acquisition of Wind and Solar Renewable Energy Portfolio of Equis Funds Group; and Grab Acquisition of SE Asian Operations of Uber.

Commenting on the firm’s latest success, ABNR Management Committee member Mr. Emir Nurmansyah said that it was very encouraging to see the firm’s work recognized overseas.
