ABNR’s Project Gotham Deal Picks Up Prestigious International Award from IJGlobal

We are pleased to share that ABNR’s “Project Gotham” deal was named “Digital Infrastructure Deal of the Year, Data Centre” at the 2023 IJGlobal Annual Awards (APAC), which were presented in Singapore on April 17.

IJGlobal, published by Euromoney Institutional Investor plc, London, is one of the world's largest and most reliable infrastructure and project finance data sources.

In Project Gotham, ABNR advised and assisted a consortium of lenders for their approx. USD 700 million financing to PT Graha Teknologi Nusantara (GTN) for the expansion of its existing data center facilities in Cikarang, West Java.

The consortium consisted of MUFG Bank, Ltd, Singapore Branch, ING Bank N.V., Singapore Branch, Natixis, Singapore Branch, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Singapore Branch, while the facilities comprised up to USD 317.5 million in term loan facilities; an up-to USD 92 million equity bridge facility; and an up-to USD 300 million uncommitted accordion facility.

The project, which was backed by GTN’s indirect shareholder, EdgeConneX (a US developer and operator of data centers), involved the design, construction, build-out, operation, management and maintenance of data center facilities with a total capacity of up to 57.6 MW.

The ABNR team for the project was headed by partners Mr. Emir Nurmansyah and Ms. Serafina Muryanti, and included senior associates Mr. Mochamad Riandi and Mr. Reynard Kevin Munando, together with associates Mr. Muhammad Irsan, Ms. Claudia Inggrid and Mr. Kenny Poltak.
