Danny is a senior associate focusing on project finance and real estate. He graduated cum laude in 2011 from Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung. He then enrolled in the master of notarial science program at Padjadjaran University, Bandung, from which he graduated cum laude in 2016. He is recommended for Real Estate by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
In project finance, he has advised lenders on a long list of power project financings, including on Indonesian security interests. He has worked on some of Indonesia’s largest power projects, including the Tanjung Jati B Units 1-4 project, Sarulla geothermal project, Semangka hydroelectric project, Central Java PPP project, Cirebon Expansion project, Tanjung Jati B Units 5 & 6 project, and the Muara Laboh geothermal and Rantau Dedap geothermal projects.
In real estate, Danny advises clients on many aspects of Indonesian land law, as well as real property-related financing. He has assisted leading UK-based and China-based developers on land issues for the development of their respective Indonesia data centers.
He also advised a China-based manufacturer on land acquisition through its Indonesian subsidiary, and a Korean investor on the development of an industrial complex in Indonesia.
Danny is a contributor to the Indonesia chapter of Thomson Reuters’ annual Commercial Real Estate Global Guide (previously known as the Corporate Real Estate Global Guide).
