Cinda joined ABNR as a trainee associate in November 2021 and was made an associate shortly thereafter. She graduated in 2020 from the University of Indonesia, majoring in economic and business law. Prior to joining ABNR, Cinda worked at a multinational oil and gas company as a legal trainee and corporate secretary.
Cinda’s main practice areas at ABNR are Competition, Foreign Direct Investment (“FDI”), and Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions (“Corporate/M&A”).
In Competition, she has assisted a range of overseas multinational companies with Indonesian competition compliance issues, and with post-merger notification obligations to the Indonesian Competition Commission.
In FDI, she has assisted a variety of foreign investors to set up business in Indonesia, including guidance on how to navigate the government’s online investment licensing portal (the OSS system), investment requirements, and other regulatory and compliance issues.
In Corporate/M&A, she has been involved in numerous due diligence and project transactions, as well as general corporate matters.
She has also worked on a number of major transactions in Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Projects & Infrastructure, and Restructuring & Insolvency, including advising on conventional and Islamic bond issuances by national railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia, the financial-structuring plan for the USD 10.7 billion Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project, the USD 2.3 billion light rail project in Greater Jakarta, an initial public offering, and the USD 9.8-billion debt restructuring of Indonesia’s national flag-carrier PT Garuda Indonesia.
