ABNR Shines at ALB Indonesia Law Awards 2018
ABNR emerged as one of the two biggest winners from the ALB Indonesia Law Awards 2018, which were presented during a gala event in the Grand Ballroom of Jakarta’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Oct. 4.
ABNR received a total of six awards, including the prestigious Indonesia Deal Firm of the Year award, while ABNR’s Mr. Emir Nurmansyah was declared Dealmaker of the Year.
The ALB Indonesia Law Awards recognizes the country’s best law firms, legal work and lawyers across a total of 33 categories.
The full list of awards garnered by ABNR this year is as follows:
- Restructuring and Insolvency Law Firm or the Year
- Project, Energy and Infrastructure Law Firm of the Year
- Indonesia Deal Firm of the Year
- Deal Maker of the Year: Emir Nurmansyah.
- Project Finance Deal of the Year: Jakarta Bandung High Speed Rail Project
- Indonesia Deal of the Year: Jakarta Bandung High Speed Rail

Meanwhile, Mr. Agus Deradjat, also a Management Committee member, commented, “It is really wonderful for us to be recognized like this. It makes all the hard work and late nights worthwhile.”
The Indonesia Law Awards are presented annually by Asian Legal Business, a Thomson Reuters publication based in Singapore, and one of the most widely read legal journals in Southeast and East Asia.
