Jyestha is an Associate at ABNR specializing in banking & finance, real estate, corporate/mergers & acquisition (M&A), as well as foreign direct investment (FDI). He advises both domestic and international clients on complex regulatory frameworks, licensing compliance, and commercial matters across these practices.

In banking and finance, he advises leading financial institutions – including commercial banks, finance companies, and securities companies – on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, licensing requirements, and operational compliance matters. His notable experience includes advising on the establishment of a financial holding company by a major Korean financial group.

In real estate, he advises on a broad range of matters, including land acquisition, relinquishments, leasing, and land zoning matters. Jyestha has been involved in multiple high-value land assets acquisition transactions in various areas, including Greater Jakarta and Bali. 

In corporate/M&A, Jyestha has been involved in a number of due diligence processes and transaction document reviews. Recently, he assisted in the USD 566 million acquisition of shares in a major Indonesian plantation group by a Korean-based multinational corporation.

In FDI, he advises international clients from various industries on investment structuring and business compliance in Indonesia, including foreign ownership restrictions, business establishment, and licensing requirements, and product compliance.

Jyestha graduated cum laude from the University of Indonesia in 2024, with specialization in Business Law. During his studies, Jyestha actively participated in organizations and competitions, earning multiple awards, notably Champion and the Honourable Mention for the Best Advocate in a prestigious Asia-wide international moot court competition.
