He supports clients across a range of cross-border transactions, with a focus on Indonesia’s critical infrastructure, energy transition, and downstream minerals sectors.
In project finance & development, Kenny is a core member of ABNR’s infrastructure team advising lenders, sponsors, and SOEs on complex, multi-stakeholder energy and utility projects. His experience includes advising on the USD 700 million Cirebon Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) Project—Indonesia’s flagship coal retirement transaction—along with geothermal developments such as the Muara Laboh and Rantau Dedap Projects, and major water infrastructure under the Karian Serpong PPP scheme.
In banking & finance, Kenny regularly advises international lenders and consortiums on large-scale credit facilities, loan security structuring, and regulatory compliance. His recent work includes supporting a USD 700 million financing to PT Graha Teknologi Nusantara (GTN) for data center expansion in West Java, and a USD 200 million facility for the construction of a pulp and paper facility, helping international financial institutions navigate Indonesia’s local collateral and regulatory frameworks.
In energy & mineral resources, he plays a key role in transactions supporting Indonesia’s strategic nickel downstreaming agenda. Notably, he advised Ningbo Contemporary Brunp Lygend Co., Ltd. on its USD 460 million acquisition of controlling interests in PT Sumberdaya Arindo and PT Feni Haltim from state-owned miner Antam. He also acts for major foreign investors in the development of HPAL and RKEF smelter facilities as part of vertically integrated nickel industrial parks.
