Atika, an associate at ABNR, focuses her practice on corporate/mergers & acquisitions (M&A), life sciences (pharmaceuticals & healthcare), shipping, and foreign direct investment (FDI).

In corporate/mergers & acquisitions (M&A), she has been involved in a variety of M&A-related legal due diligence investigations, and regularly advises clients on general corporate and internal housekeeping issues, including changes of directors / commissioners and share transfers.

In life sciences, Atika advises a number of large pharmaceutical and healthcare corporations on the legal / compliance aspects of their day-to-day operations. She also assisted with the establishment of a foreign-owned company in Indonesia that distributes medical devices. Recently, she was involved in a due diligence exercise on a chain of private hospitals.

In shipping, she has advised a mining consortium on the establishment of its own dedicated port, worked on a number of due diligence investigations of shipping companies, and advised a number of other shipping clients on the legal aspects of their routine operations.

In addition to the FDI-related matters mentioned above, she has assisted a broad range of foreign investors to set up operations in Indonesia. Her support extends to providing advice on the selection of suitable business lines in accordance with the Indonesian Standard Business Classifications, addressing investment requirements, and handling other regulatory and compliance matters.

Atika graduated cum laude from the University of Indonesia, majoring in business law with a specialization in health law. She joined ABNR in December 2022 and was made an associate shortly thereafter.
