Laras joined ABNR in November 2021 and was made an associate shortly thereafter.

At ABNR, Laras specializes in a variety of transactions and consultations relating to Manpower, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), General Corporate matters and Mergers & Acquisitions (Corporate/M&A).

In Manpower, she is passionately committed, and has been consistently involved in a wide range of employment matters including employment contracts, company regulations, employment of expatriates, and regulatory and compliance issues. She also assists clients in labor disputes and termination of employment contracts, calculating employee benefits and entitlements with an eye for detail.

She is also involved in FDI projects, advising a long list of foreign investors in establishing presence in Indonesia in a variety of sectors, and General Corporate/M&A, where she has assisted in numerous due diligence, project, and acquisition transaction matters

Laras was also  a member of the ABNR team that represented lessors in national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia’s  complex USD 9.8-billion debt restructuring, and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero)’s recent issuance of IDR 2 trillion-worth of conventional and Islamic bonds  registered at the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Laras graduated cum laude in 2020 from Pelita Harapan University, majoring in Business Law. During her university years, she was actively involved in several organizations and held a key role as General Director of the International Law Moot Court Community. She represented her university in the 2018 Foreign Direct Investment Moot Court Competition, and her team secured several wins in the Asia – Pacific Regional Rounds at Seoul, South Korea and the Global Rounds at Stockholm, Sweden.
