Agassi is an associate at ABNR whose practice covers project finance, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), competition/antitrust, and dispute resolution. He regularly advises international and domestic clients across a wide range of sectors and industries.

In project finance, Agassi is a member of the ABNR team that routinely advises lenders on large-scale infrastructure projects in Indonesia. His experience includes advising on some of the country’s most significant power projects, including the Cirebon and Cirebon Expansion, Tanjung Jati, and the Muara Laboh and Rantau Dedap geothermal projects.

In M&A, Agassi has worked on several major cross-sector transactions. Notably, he advised on the acquisition by Geo Energy Group (through its subsidiary PT Geo Energy Investama) of (i) a controlling interest in Indonesia-listed coal mining group PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk, and (ii) a minority interest in PT Marga Bara Jaya, both key players in the energy and mining sectors.

In competition and antitrust, he has assisted a range of multinational clients with post-merger notification filings before the Indonesia Competition Commission (KPPU), helping ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements following global and regional deals.

Agassi is also part of ABNR’s award-winning dispute resolution team, where he supports clients in both civil litigation and criminal business investigations. His recent work includes assisting a subsidiary of a state-owned enterprise in conducting an internal investigation into allegations of project-related fraud.

Agassi earned his law degree from Padjadjaran University, Bandung, in 2021. Before joining ABNR, he practiced at a well-regarded Jakarta law firm, where he focused on M&A and real estate transactions.
