Karina focuses her practice on foreign direct investment (FDI), general corporate law, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), with a particular emphasis on the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.

In FDI, Karina advises both domestic and international investors across a wide range of industries, including trading, services, and manufacturing. Her work covers the full investment lifecycle in Indonesia—from the establishment of foreign investment companies and use of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, to obtaining business licenses and maintaining regulatory compliance.

She played a key role in structuring and establishing a joint venture between a Japan-based company and an Indonesian partner for the manufacturing of residential air conditioners in Indonesia. Her assistance spanned company formation, investment structuring, and compliance for a multi-trillion-rupiah project. She has also advised on joint ventures in other sectors, including food and beverage, providing strategic advice tailored to industry-specific legal and regulatory frameworks.

In her general corporate practice, Karina assists multinational clients with day-to-day governance and compliance matters, helping companies in the multi-level marketing, chemical, and manufacturing sectors manage their Indonesian operations in accordance with local legal requirements.

In M&A, Karina has been involved in complex transactions such as the acquisition of companies involved in the development of integrated lithium-ion battery supply chains, and the acquisition of warehousing businesses by a Thailand-based property company. Her role includes conducting legal due diligence, transaction structuring, drafting key agreements, and managing closing processes.

Karina also has significant experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector, where she advises leading multinational companies on a range of regulatory, operational, and compliance matters. Her work includes supporting corporate restructurings and facility relocations, often under tight deadlines and within complex regulatory and investment environments.

Karina graduated cum laude from Pelita Harapan University, where she earned her law degree majoring in business law.
