Vanessa, an Associate at ABNR, specializes in foreign direct investment (FDI), technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT), Aviation, and Corporate/mergers & acquisitions (M&A) matters.

In FDI, she assists foreign investors in establishing businesses in Indonesia, providing guidance on using the government's online investment licensing portal (the OSS system), ensuring compliance with investment requirements.

In TMT, she handles matters regarding personal data protection, telecommunications networks, digital platform compliance, and general advice on technology services and compliance in Indonesia.

in aviation, her workincludes aircraft registration, repossession, and providing legal advice on a range of aviation-related matters for major Airline Companies in Indonesia and globally.

In corporate/M&A, she assists clients in conducting legal due diligence for a series of transactions and prepares corporate documents to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.

Additionally, Vanessa has been involved in ABNR teams responsible for initial public offerings (IPOs), and bond issuances, including assisting PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) on their recent issuance of conventional and Islamic bonds under a shelf registration, which consists of IDR 700 billion of conventional bonds and IDR 300 billion of Islamic bonds. 

Vanessa graduated cum laude from University of Indonesia in 2021, where she majored in Business Law. In 2022, she received a full-ride scholarship from Erasmus Trustfonds and completed her LL.M program at Erasmus University Rotterdam where she majored in Commercial and Company Law. Prior to joining ABNR, Vanessa worked as a Junior Associate at a prominent Law Firm in Jakarta, Indonesia, and as a Junior Legal Counsel at a venture-building company in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
