Tanisha is an Associate at ABNR whose practice focuses on foreign direct investment (FDI) and general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), banking and finance, and real estate. She advises both domestic and multinational clients on various transactions and regulatory compliance across these sectors.

 

In foreign direct investment (FDI) and general corporate, she regularly assists clients in establishing and expanding operations in Indonesia, advising on entity structuring, licensing, compliance, and day-to-day corporate governance. She has guided foreign investors through Indonesia’s investment framework, including business classifications under the KBLI system and OSS-based licensing processes, while addressing investment requirements and sectoral regulatory obligations.

 

In mergers and acquisitions (M&A), she has been involved in a wide range of M&A transactions, conducting legal due diligence and supporting the preparation of transactional documentation across diverse industries. Her experience includes advising on regulatory considerations and structuring issues to ensure smooth execution of corporate transactions.

 

In banking and finance, she advises domestic and international financial institutions on compliance, licensing, and operational matters. She has participated in numerous projects involving banks and other financial entities, conducting legal due diligence and assisting with transactional documentation. Her work includes advising on regulatory obligations and day-to-day legal issues affecting financial-sector operations.

  

In real estate, she advises clients on Indonesian real estate law, including land acquisition, spatial planning, land title conversion, and licensing. She also advises on property transfers, including those undertaken as part of M&A transactions, ensuring compliance with Indonesia’s complex land regulations.

 

Tanisha earned her law degree in 2023 from the University of Indonesia, majoring in Business and Technology Law. During university, she was elected President of the Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA) National Chapter Indonesia for the 2022–2023 term, representing 14 member universities nationwide. This role honed her leadership, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills, complementing her academic focus and development on law.
