An associate at ABNR, Joshua’s main areas of practice are alternative dispute resolution (ADR), foreign direct investment (FDI), and corporate/mergers & acquisitions (M&A).

In ADR, he has represented clients in arbitration proceedings before the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANI) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). He is currently advising a group of Indonesian companies on a contractual dispute with a Thailand-based respondent in SIAC proceedings.

In FDI, Joshua advises international clients on setting up business in Indonesia, and on business compliance matters.

In corporate/M&A, he has participated in a range of M&A-related due diligence projects and transactions, including the approx. USD 200-million acquisition of two Indonesian coal companies by Geo Energy Group.

Joshua graduated from Pelita Harapan University, Jakarta, in 2019, majoring in business law. In 2021, he was awarded a scholarship under the Orange Tulip Scholarship program, which enabled him to earn an LLM degree from the Vrije University, Amsterdam, specializing in international and European law.

Prior to joining ABNR in 2022, he worked at a prominent international non-governmental organization based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
