Anastasia is a Senior Associate at ABNR, with the firm since graduating from Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, in 2011. In 2016, she earned her Master of Laws (LLM) degree from New York University, specializing in corporate law. During her studies there, she gained valuable learning experience of mediating cases involving landlord-tenant and loan disputes, auto accidents, work contracts, and unpaid bills at New York State Court. She also helped to organizing a workshop for start-up entrepreneurs in New York, in collaboration with Rising Tide Capital and Lowenstein Sandler LLP.
Anastasia’s core practice at ABNR is Corporate/M&A transactions, in which she offers clients both legal and business-oriented advice. After over a decade of practicing law, she has been involved in many complex cross-border deals. Recently, she assisted SINARMAS Group in a USD 250 million investment in DANA, a leading payment fintech. She also handled corporate matters for the joint venture of Java 9&10 powerplant project company.
Anastasia is also experienced in Fintech, FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), and Competition.
In Fintech, she advises many renowned fintech companies on regulatory compliance, with clients from the fields of peer-to-peer lending, crypto assets, securities crowdfunding, and InsurTech. She also provides legal services to AFTECH, the Indonesian Fintech Association.
In FDI, Anastasia has advised a variety of multinational investors, starting from project initiation to establishment of a foreign investment company in Indonesia.
In Competition, she advises on merger filing requirements and client post-merger notification to the Indonesian Competition Commission.
In addition to her core practice, Anastasia has advised on capital markets, and restructuring & insolvency projects. Most recently, Anastasia worked on a rights issue and private placement worth hundreds of millions of dollars for PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk. In 2021-2022, she worked on one of Indonesia’s largest cases of its type, the USD 9.8-billion court-sanctioned debt restructuring of Indonesian flag carrier PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, approved by the court in June 2022.
